These are the Terms and Conditions by which you as a customer or a web surfer agree to be bound by in order to surf our website or conduct business with us.
We have done everything we can currently to make surfing our website as pleasant as possible. We constantly update information about the products and our services in order to improve our customer experience.
The information we put on the website is primarily derived from our supplier websites and from product manufacturer websites, therefore we do not claim that all or any information is correct. If the information on their websites is correct, then it is correct on our website too and it is true the other way around too. Therefore we take no responsibility for such wrong information, as it is not our intention to mislead, nor do we produce their content.
There are times when the manufacturer may choose to modify their product without notifying us (sellers), therefore our information may be outdated.
We do from time to time take extra time to describe items as we study the products, sometimes we have more information than even the manufacturer websites.
Our actual showroom is very small, however, we have many products on our website.
We have a shopping/ woocommerce section which is not meant for transactions or consumating deals. Rather it is meant to give an idea to the shopper as to what they can expect to pay in total. In most cases, you can actually find ways to print the shopping cart information and bring it with you for easy shopping.
With that said, shoppers are responsible for their own actions on the website. We do not promise to have all or any products that customers put in their carts available at our store. Some times the products they had in their shopping cart may have been sold by the time they actually visit the showroom. Or may be in the process of being sold while they are entering it in their card, but the actual deal in the showroom is not yet completed. With regards to the items that include “BY ORDER” in the title name, in some cases, we do have the products, and in some cases, we have to order them. If the manufacturer or supplier does not have these products, then we reserve the right not to sell products and eventually remove them from our website.
We do not have “no pay” reservation system. If a customer wants to reserve something, they have to pay for it, at least partly. For most bikes (that we distribute) not in the store, customers have to pay a deposit for us to bring them. If product cost is close to or over 200 Rial Oman, then the customer has to pay the full amount.
Almost 100% of the times, we take extra time to talk with each new customer who intends to purchase a bike, we spend the time to find out their immediate needs and future needs, according to which we suggest a product either from what we sell or what our competitors sell. What we offer as suggestions are based on our opinions. We do urge each customer to take time to do their own research and purchase what they think is best for them. We are not their doctors and do not know enough about their medical history to be taken upon our word. We highly recommend that each person see their doctors and get their doctors opinion about the fun biking sport they are about to start. Their doctors know best what is good for them.
We take no responsibility if customers choose to purchase bikes that are either bigger, or smaller than what their build is. In many cases, customers do prefer to purchase bigger bikes for themselves or their kids. We offer our advice, and if they choose to do otherwise, we take no responsibility for their actions.
As humans we do make mistakes, so we reserve the right not to accept or make any offers that arise due to typographical and typological errors, either on our website or at the store. Sometimes there may be too many zeros, we know for sure customers know it’s a mistake and they will not pay extra for a product when they see such a mistake, and sometimes there may be too few zeros, under such circumstances we too have the right not to extend the erroneous offer. Almost 100% of times we open “electronic” items in front of the customers to make sure that they work before we sell them. Therefore we do not accept returns on products that leave our store working and customer returns them damaged. Any opened item cannot be returned unless it is in the same condition it left our store… working and with every single plastic and plastic tie that came with it. Such returns are acceptable within 3 working days.
Unless offered in writing by us or by the manufacturer to consumer, our products have no warranty. Most bike frames have a warranty for only 1 year, this does not cover the fork, the wheels, the spokes, the springs, the seats or any other items (unless expressly offered by the manufacturer to the consumer directly). We may try to repair such parts that are damaged, in most cases we are successful, but we do not guarantee that repairs can always be done. Any clothing, gloves, sox, sleeves, biking goggles, sports water bottles and helmets purchased will not be accepted as a return for hygienical purposes.
We do not offer online (via our website) transactions partly to protect our customers. Therefore, we do not request any credit card information or other specific identifying information that could be hacked and used against consumers. At the same time we do not encourage our consumer to enter any such information on our website for fear that if our site is hacked, their information could be compromised. So we take no responsibility for any ill effects that may occur after the consumer enters their private information in places not requested. If there is no field requesting credit card information, the customer should not enter it.
We have provided multiple forms of contacts to allow buyers to contact us. We take no responsibility for anyone traveling a long distance to be disappointed because the product they are looking for is no longer in stock or was never there. Or for bringing their bikes for Essential Maintenance Service without scheduling an appointment ahead of time. We expect our customers to contact us with their request and we would respond to let them know if what they want is available in stock or not and if it can be ordered or not.
Finally, we do not claim that bikes will cure or prevent any disease. Even though it is generally accepted that the biking sport or any physical activities will benefit the rider positively and we have seen such results.
