These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of cycling accessories, child seats, and travel gear from Cycle Omania, located in Al Hail North, Muscat.

• No Bicycle Rentals: Cycle Omania provides specialized accessories and travel gear only and does not rent bicycles. Rented equipment is intended solely for use on the customer’s pre-approved personal bicycles, gear, or vehicle setups.

• Duration: The rental period begins at the agreed time of pickup and ends when the item is returned to our Al Hail North shop during regular store hours.
• Late Returns & Lost Revenue Damages: Rented items not returned by the agreed Return Date/Time will incur standard daily rates for each day late to compensate Cycle Omania for lost operational revenue, unfulfilled subsequent customer bookings, and business disruption.
• Conversion & Replacement: If an item is not returned within 4 consecutive days past the agreed return date (or exceeds the total rental duration of 30 days by 4 consecutive days without a prior written extension), the item will be deemed converted/lost. The Renter authorizes Cycle Omania to charge the full wholesale replacement value of the item in addition to all accrued late revenue damages and reasonable administrative recovery costs.

• Inspection & Acceptance: All gear is thoroughly cleaned and safety-inspected prior to handover. The customer agrees to inspect the rented equipment before leaving the premises to confirm it is clean, complete, and operational.
• Compatibility & Approved Equipment Use: Rented accessories, child seats, and vehicle racks are rented strictly on the condition of prior approval for specific, verified bicycle frames, vehicle configurations, or mounting systems. Under no circumstances may rented equipment be transferred to, mounted on, or used with non-approved bicycles, secondary vehicles, or incompatible setups.
• Sole Liability for Unauthorized Use: Should the Renter utilize rented gear on any non-approved bicycle or vehicle, the Renter assumes complete, unreserved financial and legal liability for any resulting structural failures, personal injury, or property damage.
• Installation & Safety Verification: The customer assumes total, sole responsibility for the correct mounting, secure installation, packing, and safe operation of all rented gear. Any staff guidance provided during pickup is purely advisory; final safety verification rests entirely with the user.

• Identification & Deposit: A valid Omani Civil ID or Passport, along with a refundable security deposit or credit card pre-authorization, is required prior to equipment release.
• Fair Pricing Cap: Total cumulative rental fees charged for a single continuous, standard rental period will never exceed the wholesale replacement value of the rented item.

• Damage/Loss: The customer is fully responsible for any loss, theft, or physical damage incurred during the rental window. Necessary repair costs or full replacement charges (up to wholesale replacement value) will be deducted from the security deposit or billed directly.
• Cleanliness: Items must be returned in clean condition. Excessively soiled or dirty gear will incur a standard cleaning fee.

Participating in cycling activities, transporting equipment, and mounting accessories involve inherent risks. Cycle Omania, its owners, and employees accept no liability for personal injury, loss of life, property damage, vehicle damage, or damage to personal bicycles resulting from the installation, transport, operation, or failure of rented items.

A signed Equipment Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver confirming acceptance of these terms is required prior to equipment release.
