Complete Bike Disassembly for Painting
From time to time we get a customer that has a bike that holds sentimental value in their heart and they want to restore the bike. Oftentimes, they want to completely strip off all items from the frame so that the frame can be repainted.
For complete internal cabling (via handlebar and or headset stem), we charge OMR 5.000 extra
Bike disassembly includes;
- Removal of all cabling (and preserving holes for re-cabling)
- Removal of wheels (and tires & tubes from wheels in case the wheels need to be painted)
- Removal of brake levers and wires
- Removal of shifter levers and wires
- Removal of handlebar (and grips or handlebar tape from handlebar – if exists)
- Separation of Stem from Handlebar (if needed)
- Removal of fork
- Removal of headset
- Removal of Bicycle Chain
- Removal of rear suspension (if any)
- Removal of pedals, crank, and crank arms
- Removal of the bottom bracket
- Removal of brake parts
- Removal of front derailleur (if exists)
- Removal of rear derailleur (if exists)
- Removal of mudguards (if exist)
- Removal of Seatpost with saddle
- Separation of Saddle from Seatpost (if needed)
