Cassette / Freewheel Rust Removal – Service

Oman’s weather elements can get even the most expensive bike components to rust very quickly. In some cases, it is imperative that you get the rust removed as soon as possible before it damages other components. Cassette / Freewheel is one such component that needs to be treated before they damage the chain. Especially if you are installing a new chain in presence of a rusted cassette/freewheel.

We use both chemicals and mechanical/manual methods to remove rust. Unfortunately, we cannot “beef up” areas that rust has already eaten (oxidised), nor can we shine materials that were previously matt finish or chrome, but rust has eaten through the chrome plating

What’s included;
Chemically and mechanically/manually removing rust from cassette/freewheel, adding thick oil to internal bearings if required.

What’s not included;
Rust removal on other components including hub
