Front Wheel Spokes Rust Removal – Service

Oman’s weather elements can get even the most expensive bike components to rust very quickly. In some cases, it is imperative that you get the rust removed as soon as possible before it damages other components. In the case of spokes, rarely do they spread rust elsewhere except the nipples and the hub. But before that happens, the spokes will become weak and break. So the main reason you want to remove rust from your pokes is to keep them strong longer, so they don’t break pre-maturely or stretch to cause wheel misalignment.

We use both chemicals and mechanical/manual methods to remove rust. Unfortunately, we cannot “beef up” areas that rust has already eaten (oxidised), nor can we shine materials that were previously matt finish or chrome, but rust has eaten through the chrome plating

What’s included;
Chemically and mechanically/manually removing rust from the spokes of the front wheel. The process is a little longer for spokes compared to other components.

What’s not included;
Rust removal on other components cassette/freewheel, hubs, rims etc.
