Non-Removable Bicycle Chain Rust Removal – Service

Oman’s weather elements can get even the most expensive bike components to rust very quickly. In some cases, it is imperative that you get the rust removed as soon as possible before it damages other components. A bicycle chain is one such component that needs to be treated before it causes rust to the cassette/freewheel. Especially if you are installing a new cassette/freewheel in presence of a rusted chain.

We use both chemicals and mechanical/manual methods to remove rust. Unfortunately, we cannot “beef up” areas that rust has already eaten (oxidised), nor can we shine materials that were previously matt finish or chrome, but rust has eaten through the chrome plating

What’s included;
Chemically and mechanically/manually removing rust from the removable chain. Since the chain cannot be removed, we work with the chain on the frame and cannot use the ultrasonic cleaning method.

What’s not included;
Rust removal on other components cassette/freewheel.
