Description
24 Cold Bicycle Patches with Glue – Luta
Most affordable puncture repair kit.
A box of 24 High-Quality Cold repairing adhesive patches for bicycles.
Instructions:
- Use a sandpaper or file tool to sand around the puncture hole. The prepared sanded area should be slightly larger than the patch.
- Clean the area with a clean rug (best if you had rubbing alcohol swab)
- Spread the glue on the clean prepared area and wait for a few minutes so that the glue may dry totally. Touch the edges to feel if it’s dry.
- While the glue is drying on the tube, check the tire for any objects still stuck and piercing in. Remove any found objects (thorns, nails etc.)
- Take a new patch and remove the aluminium foil covering from the patch. Do not touch the centre part of the patch, place the peeled side of the patch on to the tube making sure it is centred around the hole you are trying to patch.
- Press firmly for about 4 to 5 seconds, then use a smooth-edged object like a keyfob to press and rub the patch outwards from the centre on all sides. Leave the clear film, it will reduce friction on the patch.
- Inflate the tube just enough to be able to place it in the tire so it does not get pinched when installing the tire and tube to the frame.
- Install the tire on the frame, making sure the tube is not pinched. Add about 15 PSI and inspect to make sure the tire bead is seated in properly. Slightly bump/hit the tube on the side that is protruding so that the outer mark/ring of bead is equally distributed. Then top up air to the recommended pressure (on the tire)
- Use a sandpaper or file tool to sand around the puncture hole. The prepared sanded area should be slightly larger than the patch.
